Seva Trust of India is an indigenous trust, working for the underprivileged with our own orphanages. The organization is in operation since 1984. The life of many under privileged has been transformed to a bright future due to the efforts of the trust as well as the kind patronage of Sponsors.
We have our services in different parts of India. Even though Seva Trust is the forefront of Charitable in Social activities, it needs sponsoring from kind Philanthropic Citizens. Our grate opportunity to serve and help, orphan and homeless children of Goa. This children are attending different formal schools Marathi, Konkani and English medium.
Since 7 years our services in rented building. Now time has come to vacate the place. We need our own building for this service. So we need sponsors. Please step forward to join your hands with us to build the house for many homeless, and neglected orphans, widows and aged peoples.
Sunitha is a 9 yr. old girl who was admitted to our organization
in 2005 through the Childline Organization. According to Childline,
Sunitha had been living on the street for several years before she
was found and rescued. She has no knowledge of her family or where
they are. Sunitha has a case of slight mental retardation and has
a diminished capacity for memory retention. Due to her illness,
she is unable to recall information in a formal school setting.
Physically, however, she is well and is very happy to be a part
of our organization
Two sisters, Anitha (8) and Pooja (5) were admitted into our organization
in the year 2003, by one of our social workers. At the time, the
sisters’ were homeless and receiving inadequate care from
their parents. The girls’ father is an alcoholic and their
mother has a debilitating illness. Furthermore, their parents have
three other daughters who are being cared for by another organization.
Currently, Anitha is studying at third standard at Army School and
Pooja is studying at K.G. classes. Both girls are doing well in
their studies and are happy and healthy.
Alex is 8 yrs. old. He was admitted to our organization in the year
2001, when he was three, he was referred to our social worker and
brought to our organization. Both of Alex’s parents are deceased.
At present, the child is studying at third standard at Army School.
He accelerates in his studies and is happy with our organization.
He does, however, often feel sad that his relatives do not come
to visit him. Alex is otherwise in good health.
Latha (7) and Lakitha (6) are sisters that were brought to our organization
in 2004. Their father abandoned them and their mother as since expired.
They come from a family of seven daughters, the other five children
all live in other locations. The girls await their father to return
and take them back but their father has yet to do so. Latha is studying
at first standard and Lakitha is studying at K.G. Classes both girls
are doing very well academically. Both of them are very active,
happy, and healthy children
